Yolanda Carter Survivor, Author, Advocate, Empowerment Speaker. Started her journey of healing after a near fatal domestic violence assault that occurred in March 22nd of 2016. Her significant-other of several years decided to try and take her Life. He beat her with a hammer - leaving her in a pool of blood to die. As a result of all of her injuries, she lost her left eye, endured over 13 reconstructive surgeries, as well as spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital to repair the damage of all broken and shattered bones. After all of her surgeries, she lives with a metal plate on the right side of her scull. With all of her negatives, Yolanda still keeps her positiveness. As she would say, “ If you have never seen a miracle take a look at me”.
